Since 2000 I have served as a language tutor to school-age children, college students, and adults. Whether you are interested in learning American Spanish or Castillian (Castellano) Spanish, I can help you.

My experience with Spanish includes Spanish language classes up to 500 level Spanish at the University of Miami (Florida), 5 years of living in the Little Havana neighborhood of Miami, and 2 years of living and working in Spain. I also hold a degree in International Studies with a minor in Foreign Language from the University of Miami. In addition to my classroom and real-world experience, I have tutored Spanish in Pennsylvania, Delaware and Florida.

The ability to understand and speak Spanish is becoming increasingly important in the United States. Unfortunately, many Americans find it difficult to learn a second language. In the beginning of my language training, I struggled to apply Spanish grammar and incorporate vocabulary into conversations. My initial difficulties have translated into my ability to help students avoid the pitfalls of learning Spanish as a second language.
